Dear Brokenhearted,
Life is a journey that begins with your date of birth – and ends with your date of death (DOB–DOD). The dash in between is the path we all journey to arrive at the destination of a successful life.
The dash represents our achievements, challenges, choices, disappointments, trauma – the highs and lows of our life experiences. Sometimes your dash can become so weighted with life stressors that you are unable to cope.
Is your dash full of loneliness, disappointments, inexpressible hurts? Do you feel that no one understands your pain?
If you feel like your dash has become weighted and your path has become overgrown with the “weeds” of life, try counseling.
Counseling is an important form of self-care that can lift the heaviness of your dash. Counseling can help empower you on your journey of life.
I look forward to being an active listening ear and providing a non-judgmental environment where you are safe to discuss your concerns, establish healthy patterns of coping, and unburden your dash.
