Welcome.

Life has a way of bringing unexpected twists. Some seasons feel full of joy and purpose, while others can leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, uncertain, or simply exhausted. Wherever you find yourself today, I’m glad you’re here.

I believe counseling is more than talking through problems it’s creating a space where you can breathe, be heard, and begin moving forward at your own pace. My role isn’t to tell you how to live your life; it’s to walk alongside you, helping you discover the strengths you already possess, develop practical tools for life’s challenges, and find hope even in difficult seasons.

Whether you’re a child learning to express big emotions, a teenager navigating life’s pressures, an adult carrying the weight of responsibilities, or someone simply looking for a fresh start, you don’t have to figure it all out alone.

Growth doesn’t happen overnight, but every meaningful journey begins with a single step. If you’re ready to take that step, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

I look forward to meeting you.

MS, ALC

My name is Justin Warren, and I am an Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC) dedicated to helping children, adolescents, adults, and families navigate life’s challenges with confidence and hope. I earned my Master of Arts in Counselor Education from the University of Alabama and have experience working as both an elementary school counselor and a mental health clinician.

My counseling approach is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and collaboration. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, school-related challenges, stress, or self-esteem issues, my goal is to help you develop practical skills, build resilience, and discover your strengths.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two sons, traveling, and giving back to my community. I believe that meaningful change begins with connection, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients on their journey toward healing and personal growth.

Why I Became a Therapist

I became a clinician because I’ve always had a passion for helping people discover their strengths and realize they don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. Throughout my journey in education and counseling, I saw firsthand how having someone who truly listens, supports, and believes in you can make a lasting difference.

I wanted to be that person for others, a counselor who provides a safe space where individuals can process difficult experiences, build healthy coping skills, and move toward the life they want to live. Watching people grow in confidence, overcome obstacles, and recognize their own resilience is what continues to motivate me every day.

What I Enjoy Most About Helping Clients

What I enjoy most about helping clients is witnessing their growth. There is something incredibly rewarding about seeing someone move from feeling overwhelmed or uncertain to becoming more confident, hopeful, and empowered. I believe every person has strengths that can sometimes be difficult to recognize during challenging seasons, and I enjoy helping clients uncover those strengths and use them to create meaningful change.

I also value building genuine therapeutic relationships. Creating a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves, sharing openly, and knowing they are accepted without judgment is one of the most fulfilling parts of my work. Seeing clients achieve goals they once thought were impossible reminds me why I chose this profession.

My Counseling Style

My counseling style is warm, genuine, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to be themselves and openly discuss their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I believe that trust is the foundation of meaningful therapeutic work, so I prioritize building strong relationships with every client.

I meet clients where they are while gently challenging them to grow at a pace that feels comfortable and achievable. I balance empathy with practical problem-solving, encouraging clients to recognize their strengths, develop confidence, and gain the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges both inside and outside of therapy.

I Help With

I commonly work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a variety of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. Some of the concerns I frequently help clients navigate include anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, self-esteem, life transitions, relationship concerns, parenting challenges, peer relationships, men’s issues, school-related concerns, career counseling, burnout, anger management, grief and loss, coping skills, and personal growth.

I also have experience supporting clients through challenges related to emotional regulation, communication, family dynamics, and developing healthy coping strategies. My approach is individualized because I recognize that every client’s experiences, goals, and strengths are unique. Together, we work to build resilience, increase self-awareness, and create practical tools that promote lasting, meaningful change.

My Therapeutic Approaches

I use an integrative, evidence-based approach to counseling, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of the individual. My work is primarily informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Strengths-Based Counseling. I also incorporate mindfulness techniques, psychoeducation, and skill-building interventions to help clients develop healthy coping strategies and improve emotional well-being.

I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative. Together, we identify goals, explore patterns, build on existing strengths, and develop practical tools that clients can apply in their everyday lives. My goal is to provide support that is both compassionate and empowering, helping clients create meaningful and lasting change.
