Dear HARD worker,

Life, much like sports, is a game of momentum—sometimes you’re in control, sprinting toward your goals with confidence, and other times, you feel stuck on the sidelines, unsure of your next move. Whether you are an athlete grappling with a career-ending injury, an individual stepping into a new phase of life, or someone managing the weight of anxiety, depression, or uncertainty, I want you to know: I see you. You are not alone in this journey.

My passion extends beyond the athletic field—I work with individuals who often feel overlooked, those who have been “playing” through pain for too long or struggling in silence. You don’t have to push through alone. Healing is not a sign of weakness; it is an act of strength and endurance.

When you’re ready to talk, process, and navigate this journey, I am here to walk with you. Let’s step onto this new path together—one conversation, one breakthrough, one step at a time.

As a therapist at Work In Progress Counseling Services, I specialize in working with varsity and collegiate athletes who are navigating the unique mental and emotional demands of competitive sports. I understand that balancing academics, athletics, relationships, and personal well-being can feel overwhelming. Using a personalized blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Client-Centered Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR),

I help athletes manage performance pressure, perfectionism, burnout, injury recovery, and life transitions. My goal is to create a supportive space where clients can build resilience, reconnect with themselves, and thrive both in and beyond their sport.

Why I Became a Therapist

I became a clinician because I wanted to help people feel seen, understood, and supported during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. As a former collegiate athlete, I experienced firsthand the pressure to perform, the demands of balancing multiple responsibilities, and the feeling that vulnerability wasn’t always an option. Those experiences inspired me to create a space where athletes can be authentic, process their challenges without judgment, and recognize that their value extends far beyond their performance.

What I Enjoy Most About Helping Clients

What I enjoy most is watching clients rediscover their confidence and realize they don’t have to carry everything on their own. I love helping athletes build practical skills that fit their lifestyle, navigate pressure without losing themselves, and find balance while continuing to pursue the sport they love. Seeing clients move from feeling overwhelmed and isolated to feeling empowered and resilient is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My Counseling Style

My counseling style is warm, collaborative, and direct. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and understood while gently challenging unhelpful thoughts, patterns, and behaviors that may be keeping you stuck. My goal is to meet you where you are and help you make meaningful progress toward the life you want.
